The ensata Nintendo DS (code name NITRO) Software Emulator was developed by Nintendo IntelSys as a Debug Target for development of NITRO applications.

The following is a summary of Ensata DS emulator features:
Accurate rendering similar to the Nintendo DS system
Functionality as a debug target for CodeWarrior for NITRO *1
Functionality as a viewer for NITRO-Character *2
A debug print output console

Backward Compatibility
NDS features a separate media port for Gameboy Advance & GBA SP cartridges. NDS allows you to play all your favorite Gameboy Advance & GBA SP games in a single-player mode.

Wireless Network
You can connect with a local wireless network of up to 16 players.The wireless range can be an incredible 30 to 100 feet and for some games, multiplayer requires just one NDS game card.
Future games may take advantage of the DS Wireless LAN connection for more multiplayer possibilities.
