NDS emu News
Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl games are fully playable with No$GBA. Although You have to look for a specially patched version of the Pokemon Diamond & Pearl download to play on the emulator with save / load working. No$GBA emulator saves and loads fine. Make sure you do not change any settings. Game speed is close to full sometimes and about 60% of the normal speed in the 3D scenes.
This is how Game Save/Load should be done:
Start New Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl Game ->
Press X (Menu Button) to show menu ->
Select Save Game. (DO NOT use No$GBA Write State option in the emulator menu)
-> For loading savegames, next time You start the emulator loads the Pokemon ROM and it will automatically display the saved game and you have the ability to load it or start a new game.
No$GBA - No Cash Gameboy Advance emulator starting from version 2.2 contains some NDS emulation support so soon it will be added to our website (v2.3 contains almost full NDS emulation support including 3D) Major Missing Features in NO$GBA DS Emulator are: Sound, and WLAN emulation are still missing. Sound should be relative easy to implement. WLAN should be quite simple, too. Need a second NDS console for testing communications. Also you will need a original NDS BIOS file for commercial games that is encrypted ROM-images. (Don't worry - we will help you with getting the BIOS rom file)
Mic has restarted his work on DualiS. We have updated downloads to the version 14.2
Added a new section for DeSmuME - freeware emulator for the Nintendo DS created by YopYop156. DeSmuME supports many homebrew demos as well as a handful of Wireless Multiboot
demos. Some commercial game roms which don't work on DS Emulators like iDeaS and Dualis are working on DeSmuME emulator.
New version of the iDeaS Emulator (1.0.0.6) has been released with many improvements and more commercial game roms now working on it!
Zoo Keeper - some glitchy screens, others playable.
Space Invaders Revolution - some glitchy screens, others playable.
Dig Dug - digging strike some glitchy screens, playable but slow.
Madden NFL 2006 - crashes on main gameplay. Games like Mario Kart DS, Nintendogs and Castlevania are still unplayable.

An emulator, in the most general sense, duplicates (provides an emulation of) the functions of one system with a different system, so that the second system appears to behave like the first system. Unlike a simulation, it does not attempt to precisely model the state of the device being emulated; it only attempts to reproduce its behavior.
A common form of emulation is that of a software emulator, a piece of computer software that allows certain computer programs to run on a platform (computer architecture and/or operating system) other than the one for which they were originally written. It does this by "emulating", or reproducing, the behavior of one type of computer on another by accepting the same data, executing the same programs, and achieving the same results. A popular use of emulators is to run software and games, often referred to as ROMs.
